About JD Logs

We are extremely pleased to announce that we have recently taken ownership of JD Logs and Firewood. This means we have been able to expand our timber products and as a result we will continue to provide excellent firewood using the best materials and processes to JD’s current customer base and many more.

JD Logs was founded by local businessman John Dilwyn (JD) back in the early 1990’s. JD is a family friend and together with our Chairman Gareth, has visited Sawmill and Forestry Shows all over Europe. He has a keen eye for quality and customer service, and we are grateful that he is entrusting us to build on his success and progress the Firewood business further.

Wood was excellent and they supplied additional lengths to allow for any imperfections/ my cutting errors !   Very good communication and delivery was on time. The product itself was lovely and the customer was very pleased with the result. A few of the grooves and tongues had not cut properly but we did have some spare so overcame that issue. Overall a good product and I would use them again.

  Very Pleased with the quality of the Larch Rain-screen cladding that i used to clad my garage. Nice wood to work with, and the lengths were nice and straight, which made it easy to install. A nice surface finish to the boards too, and it’s weathering nicely into a light grey colour. Very helpful and friendly company to deal with too!
